connect to the healing powers of the land

Wild Heart Preserve

Wild Heart Preserve is Wild Heart Therapy’s sanctuary for healing and retreat.

Located outside of Fredericksburg and Austin in the Texas Hill Country, Wild Heart Preserve is a remarkable plot of 113 acres of mostly untouched land. Awe-striking rock formations, a natural forest, flowing creek and rolling hills are a life force for the healing, retreat and renewal Wild Heart Therapy champions.

Named in honor of Rachael Love Fisher’s mentor, Dr. Will Taegel, the Wild Heart Preserve is intended to help each person who visits reconnect to their Wild Heart self in order to experience healing, growth and renewal.

Wild Heart Preserve is the sacred land that provides space for all of our healing offerings (with the exception of our talk therapy sessions). Individual somatic healing sessions and intensive retreats, as well as group retreats and community gatherings, all take place at Wild Heart Preserve, allowing Wild Heart guests to be fully immersed in nature and experience the healing properties it offers.

Wild Heart Preserve is not open to the public.

Getting There

Wild Heart Preserve is about a 1.5-hour drive from San Antonio and a 2-hour drive from Austin. If attending a monthly community gathering, we encourage you to make a day or half-day of the trip, and we welcome you to bring your lunch and take time after the gathering to explore the landscape. Fredericksburg is also about a 30-minute drive away and is home to many restaurants, local shops and Texas wine tasting.

Unless an event is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, we will always be meeting outdoors in (light) rain or shine. Hiking shoes or sneakers are necessary for the terrain. Please wear clothing based on the weather. We suggest long pants and dressing in layers.
